For the 5th time the Verzio International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Hungary took place. "Stone Silence" directed by Krzysztof Kopczyński took part in the festival in the Audience Award competition. The event took take place between the 4-9 of November 2008 in Budapest. Film was screened on Nov 7, Friday 22:00.

Eureka Media Films at a Festival in Turkmenistan »

The documentary and short film festival "Turkmenistan and World Movie Art" took place between the 1-7 of November 2008 in Ashgabat the capital of Turkmenistan. Three films produced by Eureka Media were presented there: "Kites" (dir. Beata Dzianowicz), "52 Percent" (dir. Rafał Skalski) and "The First Day" (dir. Marcin Sauter). The festival was not having a competition, it presented the films in a form of a review.

Between the 4-6 of November 2008 in Poznań the I Photo documentary Film Festival organized by the Academy of Humanities and Journalism in Poznań and the Institute of Photography Foundation. Krzysztof Kopczyński's film "Stone Silence" was shown as part of the event (November 5, at 5:00 PM) as well as Witold Krassowski’s photography exhibition "Afghanistan".

Screenings of "The Seeds" and “The Suburban Train" in Cracow

On the 4th of November at 8:00 p.m. in the 18 Cinema Theatre in Cracow there was a screening of films represented by the Promotion Agency of the Cracow Film Foundation. In the program such films like Maciej Cuske’s "The Suburban Train" and Wojciech Kasperski’s "The Seeds" were included. The screening was free.
