"Skylight" at the Krakow International Film Festival

A documentary by Jacek Knopp "Skylight. High Access Service Workers Cooperative" will be screened during the 51st Krakow International Film Festival. The screening will take place on Saturday, May 28th, at 3.30 p.m. in the Cinema Kino pod baranami, Rynek Glowny 27, in the Blue Auditorium.


"Planet Kirsan" at Planete Doc Film Festival

"Planet Kirsan" directed by Magdalena Pięta will be screened twice during Planete Doc Film Festival: on Friday, 13th May, at 5 p.m. (Kinoteka 4) and on Sunday, 15th May, at 7 p.m. (Kinoteka 1). After the screening there will be a Q&A session with the authors of the film - as it may seem, the last film in the project "Poland-Russia. New Gaze", produced by Eureka Media and Adam Mickiewicz Institute, cofinanced by the Polish Film Institute and Polish and Russian film schools. You are warmheartedly welcome!

"17th of August" awarded in Belgrade

"17th of August" by Alexander Gutman received "Golden Plaque" Award on the 58th Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival which lasted till 3rd of April 2011. "Golden Plaque" is an award for the best movie in the international competition. This is 9th award for Alexander Gutman's documentary and 119th for a film produced by Krzysztof Kopczynski.

Our films again in Russia

In March and April our films will be screened several times in Russia. “Forest” dir. by Piotr Dumała will be screened in Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novogrod during the 4. edition of "Wisła" Polish Film Festival. Our Russian partners organize screenings of films produced within the frames of the project “Poland-Russia. New Gaze” (realized by Eureka Media and Adam Mickiewicz Institute, co- financed by the Polish Film Institute) in DOKer cinema in Moscow, in Central Journalist’s House and Museum of Photography “Mietnikov’s House” in Yekaterinburg. Audience will see “The Seeds”, “52 percent”, “7xMoscow”, “The Suburban Train”, „My Kieslowski” and „The Unemployed”.
