Special Mention for "The Seeds" at the festival in Mexico

Wojciech Kasperski’s film "The Seeds" realized in 2005 under the„Russia and Poland. New Gaze” project, 1st edition, has received the Special Mention of the Jury in the Best International short documentary competition of the second edition of DOCSDF, International Documentary Film Festival of México City. The festival took place during the 27th of September till the 6th of October 2007.

The documentary film "The Suburban Train" (dir. Maciej Cuske) was once again presented in Great Britain. This screening was on the 26th of September in Glasgow as part of a documentary film presentation of films that where shown at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in August 2007.

At the XXXII Polish Film Festival In Gdynia the film "52 Percent" (dir. Rafał Skalski) was shown twice at the screening of prizewinners of the 47th Cracow Film Festival. The festival took place in Gdynia between the 17-22 of September.

Krzysztof Kopczynski’s article was published in the recently released new issue of the Polish quarterly magazine “Kamera”. The article was inspired by a discussion at this years 47th Cracow Film Festival concentrating on international co-productions in documentary and animated film. The article is based on the authors personal work experience in the polish and international documentary market in the past couple of years, also including some generalizations about “the polish documentary situation” in the world.
