On Saturday the 23 of February the IV Documentary Film Festival "Punto de Vista" in Pamplona, Spain, has ended. The film "The First Day" directed by Rafał Skalski has received the First Prize for the best short film.

"Nearer East" is the title of the event that tok place in the Silesian Theatre in Katowice. It was connected with the premiere of David Hare’s play - "Stuff Happens". Eureka Media’s newest productions connected with Afghanistan were presented there. On the 23 of February at 6.00 PM the opening of Witold Krassowski’s photo exhibition took place preceded by the premiere of the play. On Sunday the 24th of February at 4.00 PM both films, "Kites" and "Stone Silence" were screened. After the screening there was a meeting with the filmmakers.

SunDoc is a series of documentary film screenings for around the world organized by the European Documentary Network in Copenhagen. Every screening is followed by a discussion with the audience. On the 17th of February 2008 at 2:00 PM "Stone Silence" has been screened as part of this series. There was also a discussion with the director of the film, Krzysztof Kopczyński.
